NADFAS volunteers working on the textile collections

The collections at Gunnersbury Park Museum cover the history of the two London Boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow, and include archaeology, local history, art and costume. The Museum provides regular special exhibitions and an educational activities programme. It re-opened in the summer of 2018 after a major refurbishment.

The London Museum holds the other major collections of objects and images relating to our area. Its predecessor, The Museum of London, closed in December 2022 to make possible the major project of moving it to a new site in the former Smithfield General Market. The London Museum Docklands remains open and the London Museum should open to visitors in 2026
