Brentford & Chiswick Local History Society members worked on the project – Christine Hayek and Patricia James analysed St Nicholas parish registers for death rates, causes of death and forenames, Brenda Woolley analysed details of boarding schools in the 1851 Census and Val Bott wrote the exhibition script from which the book was developed.Beautifully designed by Toni Marshall, the book is packed with prints, drawings, photographs and ephemera from the Local Studies Collection at Chiswick Library.
