An illustrated talk by Michael Snodin, Trustee of Strawberry Hill and co-curator of the exhibition which has brought Horace Walpole’s extraordinary collection back to Twickenham. Paintings, sculpture and rare objects were dispersed after Walpole’s death. Years of careful research have traced them and some are now to be found in their original locations inside Walpole’s ‘little gothic castle’.
